Jim Murphy has condemned ‘aggressive nationalism’ after scuffles broke out as he campaigned in Glasgow with comedian Suzy Eddie Izzard. The Labour leader said the behaviour should have no place in the election campaign. Nicola Sturgeon insisted the demonstration had nothing to do with her party. Elsewhere, the Conservatives said only they could continue to be trusted with the economy while the Lib Dems said they offer stability and unity.
